Eid Henna

This morning I did some henna designs in honor of Eid for a friend on the veranda. She had just come back from the farmer’s market and gave me a delicious heirloom tomato. She typically lets me design her henna whichever way I feel, which is pretty nice for the artist. I decided to design her henna based on some recent photos from the Gulf region of our world. These designs to me, are particularly elegant and flowing. They make great use of open space, and appear as whisps across the hands. I would love to explore Gulf designs more often. Henna paste contains, Monsoon Henna powder, Jamila Henna powder, lemon juice, cajeput oil, lavendar oil, and frankincense oil.
